Profile description

Yeldo is seeking, in partnership with a luxembourg AIFM, a skilled and experienced Fund and Portfolio Manager to lead the setup and the expansion of its current range of activities to include the management of Alternative Investments (AIFM license). The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, fund management, real estate, alternative investments, and regulation developed in Luxembourg Funds with a strong track record in execution and coordination of multiple stakeholders in Luxembourg and Europe.

Main responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: 
  • Coordinate the acquisition of the AIFM licence
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, set timelines, and monitor progress and ensure successful completion of the initiatives 
  • Supervise day to day operations and duties of the management company for the alternative asset classes, with focus on Real Estate
• Stakeholders Management: 
  • Manage Luxembourg-based partners, coordinating their activities to ensure smooth execution of their objectives (eg. depo banks, tax/legal providers, auditors etc)
  • Work closely with the investment advisor (YELDO) to ensure seamless execution of projects
• Ensure Compliance and Regulatory requirements: 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant EU and Lux regulations and legal requirements.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory environments that may impact fund investments.
• Reporting and Documentation: 
  • Prepare and present regular reports on fund status, key performance indicators, etc.
  • Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, providing insights into the fund's financial health and operations.
• Market Monitoring:
  • Stay abreast of economic and market trends affecting the real estate industry.
  • Adjust investment strategies in response to changes in the market environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory.
• Master’s degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) is often preferred.
• Proven experience as a Real Estate Fund Manager or in a similar role within the real estate investment industry.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of real estate markets, investment strategies, and industry trends.
• Excellent understanding of financial and administrative process in the Luxembourg context.
• Experience in KYC/AML procedures appreciated
